Public Sociology. Look, Mum! I’m in the newspaper!

Alexandre Trindade and I doing public sociology together—my first appearance as a scholar in Cambridge Independent, a newspaper that reaches beyond the university bubble of Cambridge.

Journalist Mike Scialom interviewed us for an article about the event we organised at the Faculty of Education, which drew an unusually large and diverse audience. Many attendees travelled from London, and a significant number were non-academics, joining scholars from Cambridge in this vibrant gathering.
