Presenting at Clarec Whereabouts Seminar Series

Very happy to have been invited to present my research work that resulted in the book Memórias Entrelaçadas: do trauma ao empoderamento at the seminar series Whereabouts, organised by the Clarec (Cambridge Latin American Research in Education Collective) at the University of Cambridge. My seminar will take place on 7 March at 14:00, celebrating International Women's Day.

I will discuss the first generation of women who entered university in Brazil since the establishment of affirmative action policies in the 2000s, and how mutual support between mothers and daughters empowered these women to break the historical cycle of paid reproductive work among the women in their families.
