Intertwined Memories on Women's International Day

I am very happy to have had the opportunity to present my research work at the invitation of Clarec (Cambridge Latin American Research in Education Collective) at the Faculty of Education. The talk celebrates International Women's Day, and I discuss the first generation of female university students and their mothers, who were domestic workers in Brazil, and how access to higher education led to social mobility and the overcoming of traumas for mothers and daughters through mutual support.
