My second participation in an international conference, this time at the annual Society for Latin American Studies (SLAS) Conference, hosted by the Centre for Latin American Research and Documentation (CEDLA) at the University of Amsterdam. I presented my master’s work—and book—on Brazilian mothers and daughters, alongside other panelists I met in person for the first time, all researching Gender Justice.

It was lovely to see so many familiar faces from my former department, the Centre of Latin American Studies (CLAS).
