CIES Conference 2025 - Envisioning Education in a Digital Society

I am delighted to be presenting at the 69th Annual Conference of the Comparative and International Education Society (CIES). This will be my second time presenting at a CIES conference, and I also hope it will mark the third and final year of my PhD. This year, the conference will take place in Chicago, and the theme is Envisioning Education in a Digital Society.

Once again, we have organised a panel: Continuities & Disruptions: Exploring Historical Traces and Contemporary Legacies in Latin American Education. I will present my current PhD research, aligning with this year’s conference theme, in a paper titled Historical Debts and Digital Inequalities: The Experiences of First-Generation Women in Public Higher Education in Brazil and England in the Twenty-First Century.
